Garden and Surrounds

The High House is a family owned cottage and therefore has all the family games, beach equipment, oldish bikes, lawn games, garden seating and sun umberellas. We welcome you to use whatever you can. The beach is accessible via the cliff steps and once there you will find an isolated beach for your almost private use. Should the cliff walk be too tricky for you the village has an accessible beach and there are plenty of other beaches in the area you can drive to. More on the surrounds to follow a webpage update.

Ample space for children's games, a childs swing, bikes in the shed, a hammock and all safely knowing this up a very private dirt lane where cars are seldom seen. The enclosed garden acts as a wind break and with the outdoor garden seating with canvas umbrella is an ideal retreat.

The shed has body boards, buckets and spades, canvas windbreaks, fishing nets, bowling equipment, and other assorted games.

The local surrounding area allows for hours of flat cycling terrain over bridle lanes and coastal paths.
